Jam's Accident

This is Jam after her operation on Tuesday, the 17th of June 2008. Jam had a fall from a cow. Yes...a cow! Jam, Jeremy and Justin asked daddy Elmer to bring them to the Legacy Park for the last time this summer break. First day of class was supposed to be Monday, so daddy conceded and they all rode their bikes there. Unfortunately, the two boys spotted a cow and decided they would try to ride it. Jam got pulled along to join them. Jeremy was able to jump from the cow when it bucked, but Jam was not so lucky. She broke her elbow on the fall and had to be operated on. She now has 2 steel pins inserted in her elbow. This is has got to be the most painful experience of our lives...

Friday, June 13, 2008 Jam was thrown off the cow, broke her right elbow and was rushed to the ER of UMC. Her right hand had to be bandaged and hanged to reduce the swelling before she can be operated on. She spent 4 nights and 3 days in this position. As a result, she acquired numerous blisters in the bandaged area. More blisters were added to those after the operation. Very painful!
