My Princess

We promised Jam she could have a kiddie party on her 8th birthday. Unfortunately, her 8th birthday landed on a weekday. We had to move the party on the Saturday that week (14 Jan. 2006) so that more people could be with us. She chose the theme, the guests and the cake of course. Thus, we had a Disney Princesses party at SM Dasma McDonalds.

Jam's Baptism

It was on a chilly morning, the tenth day of January, 2006, that our beloved Jam was baptized. It was her 8th birthday. This would make it doubly memorable for her. That like her father before her was baptized on his 8th birthday, so was she baptized on her 8th birthday. The baptism by imersion and confirmation or laying on of hand for the gift of the Holy Ghost were officiated by her father, Elmer Torres.

The baptism started around 7am. No programs, no speakers. Just us and Stephen Moralita's family. Stephen or Penpen, as he is more commonly known, also was baptized along with Jam. We decided to do without the program because we didn't want her to miss school (which starts at 7am for her, so she missed the first period). Witnesses were Jared Majaba, Ranran Cortez and Bro. Laurio.
